WAHL Replacement Blade for Detailer / G-Whiz Trimmer

WAHL Detailer / G-Whiz Replacement Blade is a professional adjustable T-shaped blade designed to restore close, precise cutting performance to compatible WAHL Detailer and G-Whiz trimmers. Its T-blade profile provides excellent visibility and control for outlining, edging and detailed finishing work.

The blade provides a close cutting length of approximately 0.4mm and can be adjusted for zero-overlap performance by a suitably trained professional. Its precision-ground teeth support crisp lines and controlled close trimming around the hairline, neckline, ears and facial hair.

Ideal for professional barbers, hairdressers and experienced grooming specialists, this replacement blade provides a practical solution when the original trimmer blade becomes worn, damaged or less effective.

Cutting Length

  • Approximately 0.4mm.
  • Zero-overlap capable when correctly adjusted by a trained professional.

Compatible Models

  • WAHL Detailer Trimmer – compatible versions using the standard T-blade system.
  • WAHL G-Whiz Trimmer – model 8986 and compatible versions.

Standard T-Shaped Blade

The T-shaped profile provides extended cutting corners for working around the ears, hairline and other detailed areas. It combines close cutting performance with excellent visibility, allowing the user to see the line being created.

Close Precision Cutting

With an approximate 0.4mm cutting length, the blade is designed for close professional trimming. It is suitable for creating crisp outlines, refining beard lines, cleaning necklines and producing detailed designs.

Zero-Overlap Capability

The adjustable blade can be set for zero-overlap performance by an experienced professional. Correct alignment is essential because the moving cutter must never extend beyond the stationary blade. Incorrect adjustment may cause cuts, irritation or injury.

  • Incorrect zero-overlap adjustment may cause cuts, irritation or injury.
  • Do not use the blade over spots, moles, broken skin or irritated areas.
  • Avoid applying excessive pressure during close detailing.

  • Stop using the trimmer if the blade pulls hair, becomes excessively hot or causes discomfort.

Please Note: Blade reference 1062-600 is associated with compatible earlier standard WAHL Detailer and G-Whiz trimmers. Updated corded Detailer, Cordless Detailer Li, Gold Detailer and regional versions may use a different blade, including an extra-wide 2215-series blade. Always compare the original blade reference, width, mounting system and complete appliance model number before ordering.

Top Tip: Use the corners of the T-blade for controlled work around curves and the full blade width for straight lines. Apply light pressure, keep the blade flat where appropriate and check its temperature regularly during extended professional detailing.
